We carefully study every aspect of the project and the requirements the images need to fulfill, including the concept behind the shoot and the desired look you want to achieve.

We have been commissioned by industry-leading architects, construction companies, developers and design agencies to photograph their projects, and love the places architectural photography takes us – if we need to dangle from a crane to get that spectacular shot of a new skyscraper, we’ll do it!

Mackintosh Photography is a creative photography studio located in the inner Sydney suburb of Rozelle, Sydney.
We specialise in architectural photography across Sydney and Melbourne. Our architectural photography is about soul, tension and passion as much as it is about showing off your contribution to the built environment and conveying the messages you want to convey.

No two projects are the same, so we treat each commission individually and will discuss with you your brief and end-use of the images before giving you an accurate estimate.

White Bay Power Station, Rozelle

The White Bay Power Station is a heritage listed former coal-fired power station in White Bay, in the suburb of Rozelle. It supplied power to Sydney Tram network and was decommissioned in 1983.

1 Bligh Street, Sydney

The 1 Bligh tower in Sydney’s financial district, highly visible when viewed from the Harbour Bridge, is a prominent addition to the city’s skyline. Australia’s first truly “green” skyscraper is a 28-storey tower. Architect: Ingenhoven and Architects.

Sunset on the curvy Cove Apartments with a variety of size in the 220 apartments; from two three-storey high units with open internal spaces and private pools on the roof to half-floor, four and five units per level, etc. This mixture of apartments results in variegated expressions on the facades of the tower. Rose Seidler House Mural, Wahroonga

The mural was reportedly inspired by Seidler’s time in Brazil in 1948 where he worked under celebrated twentieth-century architect, Oscar Niemeyer and spent time exploring buildings influence such as Rio de Janeiro’s Ministry of Education and Health of 1936.
